Maybe you’ve already seen their accessories in top department stores. But if you haven’t here’s a crash course. Roffe accessories range from ponchos and kimonos to fedoras, baker caps and neckwear. Originally, the brand started as luxury men’s accessories and back in 1989. With increased popularity and high demand, women’s apparel made its debut in 2002, merging with licensed brands: English Laundry, Duchamp, Nicole Miller, 1 Like No Other, Tahari and Bermuda Styles. An industry leader today, I was welcomed in to shop their Sample Sale event and had a Roffe-ing awesome time.
The team along with the accessories are an absolute delight. I mean I couldn’t stop gushing and cozy-ing up in the finest, furriest, softest of textiles. The best part of this experience other than playing dress up was chatting the whole time through—without a place to rush to, trying new styles I wouldn’t think to buy (at first glance). And it’s always fun to make new friends.
I don’t normally consider myself a hat kind-of-person and there are plenty of ponchos I’ve bought and worn but once, but my new motto is, why not? You shouldn’t judge a book by the cover nor should you judge a cap by its mannequin. It may just be the fit you were looking for all along. In the most unique of designs. One that complements your hair and your personality.
Can’t wait to don my new styles around town (urban and suburban) which I kinda sorta already started to do.
