Style Files: UO Arlo

As you know and have read, my thing is to shop strategically, meaning smart.  I hunt to find the sales and buy full price items when they’re at a promo.  This comes from either subscribing and periodically checking my promo emails, Instagram following, or routine check-ins to my favorites.

Columbus Day weekend being no exception, I took to checking Urban Outfitters for their goods.  Sure as day, it read 50% off styles, including full price.  So this was the time to find trending checkered pants.  Named the “Arlo”, the Top Rated reviews were on point.

“True to Size”

“Super Comfy”

“I Bought Two and Now I’m Broke”

So I went with it, trusting the people and ordered the Brown Multi for $59.00 $29.50.  Super happy when they arrived, they live up to the feedback.  They’re versatile, comfortable, and edgy when styled appropriately, (or perhaps not to all).

The Look:

Bodysuit, Masculine Coat, Soft Hat, Vinyl Clutch, Zara.com | “Arlo” Pants, urbanoutfitters.com Boots, Koi Footwear Sunglasses, Nastygal.com Jewelry, nymeshop.com (Code Antinew20)

True that I love a little edge but I also dress mostly for my body.  Because the pants create volume on my bottom half, I elongate my torso by pairing them with a bodysuit.  A cropped top would work also.  Or an ultra cropped neutral hoodie.  Though it’s hard to tell, and I do plan to show loud and proud, I wore my NYME choker necklace outside my turtleneck along with my pearl hoop earrings to complete.  And to top off, my hair was protected by the crisp wind in a soft hat from the Zara SALE this past winter.
